Downtown Lafayette Engagement Session

When we first met Claudia and Evan in a coffee shop, we immediately hit it off. A meeting that was supposed to last about 20 minutes quickly turned into about an hour as we shared stories and laughed together over coffee. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. So when it came to their engagement session, we knew it was going to be incredible.

We met Claudia and Evan at their home nestled in a sweet and quiet area in the middle of Lafayette, Louisiana where we were greeted at the door with mojitos. I mean, c’mon. Can’t all engagement session be this fun and chill?! We chatted while sharing a drink in their living room while listening to music and just watched and documented these two incredible people naturally interact with each other. Engagement sessions should always be unposed, carefree and full of laughter. Those are the best memories we have with the ones we love. So why not document life that way?

After spending some time chilling on their front porch, we drove to downtown Lafayette, where more good times and a couple of beers in the Wurst Biergarten sitting right in the heart of downtown Lafayette, we waited for a bit for the sun to go down and ran to the top of the parking garage nearby to watch the sun set on this beautiful city we call home. What a fun afternoon with these two. I hope all engagement sessions are as chill as this one was! Can’t wait for the wedding this fall!
