Weddings like Trisha and Ashton’s make us have a really deep appreciation for what we do each weekend. These two are deeply in love with each other, and it was incredibly evident in each aspect of the day.
We arrived at the Buchanan Lofts in downtown Lafayette where Trisha and Ashton both got ready before the wedding in separate rooms. We were blown away at Trisha’s dress, filled with intricate lace details from the sleeves all the way down to the train. After spending some time getting ready, it was time to head to Vermillionville for their first look.
Ashton’s reaction was so incredibly sweet, and you could really see how much they loved each other. We took some portraits around the grounds before it was time to get them settled in for the ceremony to start there. They were surrounded by so many family and friends, and so much love filled that room as they exchanged vows.
Immediately after the ceremony, we ran back out for more portraits, just as they had requested. Trisha and Ashton put so much importance on photos together, which is so refreshing to see. Sometimes, so much time and energy goes into making sure traditions are set in place, and the most important factor gets placed in the background: the couple. Not these two. They were all about the portraits, and it made us so proud to be present for their big day. They wrapped up the night with hours of dancing, surrounded by friends family and a room full of love. What an awesome day to witness. Congratulations you two!
