New Orleans Race and Religious Wedding: Allie + TC
“Where there are flowers, I am happy.”
People are incredible. They can touch your heart. Encourage you. Inspire you. It’s so moving to see two wonderful human beings come together to create so much magic. Allie and TC are those people. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful these two have been from the beginning of it all. From the moment we initially met over FaceTime last fall, to their engagement session during this past summer, down to their incredibly fun wedding day, these two have been a delight to be with. They are the epitome of chill, and just ooze love for each other, and it’s just the sweetest thing to witness.
We arrived at Race and Religious in New Orleans for their wedding, and was greeted by Allie with the warmest hug I think I’ve ever experienced from one of our couples. Allie spreads sunshine and warmth on everything and everyone she meets, and you could feel the light and carefree vibes when you’re in her presence. Her smile and love for others in infectious. Allie along with her bridesmaids and close family hung out and got ready in one of the rooms at R&R, while TC hung out with his groomsmen on the other end of the grounds. After sharing laughs with their friends and getting ready, it was time for their first look outside. I can describe what happened next in three words: It. Was. Perfect. Allie and TC were totally themselves throughout the day with each other and separately, and it was so refreshing watching them be so in love with each other. After their first look and some family formals, we ran around the grounds a bit to snag a few photos of these two together, some of which will always be my favorite couples portraits.
Their ceremony to follow was the sweetest, as everyone watched them make lifelong promises and shared the best of laughs too. The moment they said “I do”, a second line was waiting to show everyone just how much fun a Nola wedding can be. We paraded in the streets listening to the most upbeat jazzy tunes your ears could hear, and you couldn’t help but just get up and move with them. We danced around the block and circled back to the venue, where a night of dancing to the best music, the most savory food and a pool party to end the night awaited everyone. What a night to be a part of. Congratulations Allie and TC! You two are amazing people and your wedding will be one to remember!
