Il Mercato Wedding : Abra and Andrew

There’s something about a wedding in New Orleans that stands out from the rest. I don’t know if it’s just the relaxed vibes, the incredible food, people or the city itself, but they leave their mark on you. We were getting so pumped for this wedding for months, and now that it was finally here, we were over the moon excited.

We met Abra at the Henry Howard Hotel where she and her girls prepped for the big day, and shared stories, sipped on champagne and jumped on the beds out of sheer excitement for what was to come that evening. Andrew got ready and drank scotch with his pals down the road at Billy Reid, a custom suit shop. After about an hour, Andrew headed over to us at the Henry Howard Hotel where Abra and Andrew would be having their first look. His reaction was the sweetest. We took some family formals while we had the time, along with some great photos with their adorable and unforgettable corgi pup, Roly, and off we headed to Il Mercato where the ceremony and reception were to be held.

As we waited for guests to pour into the courtyard for the ceremony, we waited inside eagerly for everyone to arrive. The ceremony shortly began after that, and It was absolutely stunning. Abra and Andrew have a love for each other that’s so incredibly sweet, and Abra exudes kindness like no other. Shortly following their beautiful ceremony, a local jazz band arrived and lead everyone in attendance down the streets for a second line, and eventually leading back to the reception right back at Il Mercato, where everyone danced, laughed and partied into the night. What a beautiful day to be a part of. Congratulations Abra and Andrew! It was truly an honor to be present!
