A lot can be said abut Ellen and Daniel. They are adventure seekers. They are generous. They are madly in love. Most of all, they are happy.
We hiked around Clark Creek for their adventure session, played in the stormy weather for her bridal session, and now the wedding day was here. We knew it was going to be good. So good.
We arrived to Ellen’s childhood home in Franklin, Louisiana where we were greeted with warm smiling faces, hugs and squeals. The wedding was planned to be here, but due to large amounts of rain a couple of weeks prior, it was moved, so spending some time here was very important. And we could see why. Everyone knew the place like the back of their hand. Everyone was comfortable. Everyone was at home. That’s a feeling you don’t let go of once you’ve got it.
After getting dressed and doing a big reveal to her bridesmaids (so sweet), we piled into our vehicles and off we went to the ceremony. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a bride and groom smile as much as these two, and we just love every bit of it. We only had about 10 minutes left after the ceremony before dark, so we jetted over to the reception, which was at the Fairfax House in Franklin, and hurried off to the backyard for a private portrait session with just the two of them. It was amazing. Their chemistry is incredible and something to watch. After portraits, it was time to party, and party they did. Ellen announced early in the night how grateful they were for everyone who came, but if you wanted to talk to them, you’d have to meet them on the dance floor. Enjoy your day. Have fun. Ellen and Daniel got that. It was one of the most packed dance floors we’ve seen to date, and it couldn’t have been any better.
Thank you two for having us and for showing us how much fun you two have being in love with each other. We hope it always stays that way. Congratulations!
