“My heart talks about nothing but you.” -Albert Camus
So much thought, hard work, perseverance and dedication went into making this wedding everything it was. We arrived at the Southern Hotel in Covington, LA where Casey and Ted got ready alongside their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We went immediately into capturing all the little details and mementos, including a painting Ted surprised Casey with of the day they got engaged in New Orleans. How sweet is that?
After getting all ready to depart, it was time to head over to the North House, just 15 min north of Covington. Guys, can I say gorgeous venue?! Every inch of the gardens that surrounded the house was transformed into a dreamy garden wedding, filled with florals, uniques details, classy furniture surrounding the dance floor and candlelight everywhere you turned. Casey and Ted had their first look in front of the house where they would later be exchanging vows. Ted seeing Casey for the first time was the sweetest thing, the warmest smile ever.
Their ceremony was nothing short of spectacular, held outside in front of the North House. Florals lined the aisle as everyone walked down, and a string quartet played in the background. After saying “I Do”, we snapped a few more couples portraits before the sun went down, and now it was time to celebrate! The dance floor was lively all night, everyone having a great time enjoying the food, drinks and atmosphere. The night ended with a rose petal exit, a fantastic way to wrap up such a beautiful event! Congratulations Casey and Ted! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for having us there to capture your day!
