We were really excited when we were contacted by the Norris family about this Avery Island family session because it’s one of our favorite locations! Avery Island is located just 45 minutes away from Lafayette, Louisiana. Best known as the home of Tabasco Sauce, the area also boasts gorgeous wetlands and old oak trees cloaked in Spanish moss. If you’re looking for dreamy, nature-inspired photos, an Avery Island family session is perfect for you. Make a day of it by strolling through the Jungle Gardens and visiting the Bird City wildfowl refuge.

Avery Island also offers plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, which is the perfect way to keep them happy and entertained throughout the family session. We do our best to keep things fun for the families we work with, and let that joy shine through in the photos.

We were also excited when the Norris family contacted us because we have been photographing them for several years now, and watching this beautiful family grow has been an incredible experience. We love seeing how the kids’ personalities develop as they get older, which happens so quickly at this age.
