“When I met your soul, it took every ounce of me.” -Atticus
We hung out with Jordan and Eddie for their adventure session last year on a gorgeous summer evening at this very place in south Louisiana, and as they talked about their wedding plans with us, we grew more and more excited for it all. So when their big day arrived, it was definitely an exciting one.
First off, the two are some of the kindest, meekest people we’ve met, and throughout the entire day they always made time for each other. So important. We love first looks for many reasons, but we also deeply respect each couple’s decision on the matter. Jordan and Eddie wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other, but also really wanted to have photos together prior to the wedding. So we brought our heads together and came up with an entire mini shoot without Eddie seeing Jordan the entire time. It was pretty sweet.
After some time, guests began arriving and we all proceeded to the white ballroom where family and friends surrounded the couple as they exchanged vows in this warm intimate setting. After saying I Do, we ran outside with Jordan and Eddie and took photos on the levee with our last bit of light out and it couldn’t have been more magical. What an incredible day. Thanks Jordan and Eddie for having us present to witness such a beautiful moment in time. Congratulations!
Love love love this post! It’s so incredible how you guys seem to easily capture these genuine moments with these dear friends. Keep up the great work!
Erin and Geoffrey, I love, love, love the emotions you captured! Beautiful shots that will help these memories last forever.
