One Year Anniversary Sessions are such a great way to celebrate your first year of marriage and we cannot believe it has already been one year since we celebrated with Leigh Anne and James on their wedding day in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Back when they were getting married, we didn’t get the chance to do a bridal session before the wedding day because they live out of state, so they pitched them the idea of doing a One Year Anniversary Session and we went for it! Good stuff!

Too often after spending so much time with our couples, we lose touch because, as we all know, life gets busy. And this makes us sad. We enjoy our clients so much and once we spend time shooting their engagement session, bridals, and wedding, we feel like we know them and we’ve made new friends—new friends that we want to stay in touch with. This is why it was so much fun getting to hang with Leigh Anne and James again and to hear how their first year of marriage has been!

As an added bonus, they had the opportunity to play dress up again and have their photos taken in Leigh Anne’s childhood home—that her dad designed and built—in Alexandria, Louisiana. Then we headed over to Oakwing Golf Course for photos in the fall colors outside. It was a day full of magic, one very gorgeous fluffy cat, some inspiring photos, and a whole lot of belly laughs.

These two are the bees knees—so comfortable with each other and lighthearted. We absolutely LOVED celebrating one year with them and we totally want to celebrate one year with more of our rad couples!
