There’s a lot of wonderful things to be said about these two. If we could describe Mary and Davis in one word, it would most likely be kindheartedness. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in your own thoughts and concerns on your wedding day, but Mary and Davis set the bar for being selfless. Throughout the entire wedding day, they spent their energy and thoughts on each other and those that came to celebrate with them.

We arrived to meet Davis visiting and getting ready with his groomsmen at a family friend’s home in Lafayette. We spent time with him, visiting and catching up on their future plans together and documenting him reading Mary’s letter. (we LOVE hand written letters y’all. All the feels!) After that, we went just down the street to meet Mary at the Carriage House Hotel where she was hanging out with her bridesmaids and parents the morning of the wedding. Everyone this morning was incredibly kind and generous, and Mary was bubbling over with happiness and gratitude for everything happening that day. Once all the prep was completed, we hurried on over to the ceremony downtown and watched these two love birds vow to spend forever together.

After saying “I Do”, it was time for their reception. We went over to the Petroleum Club where cocktails, decorated tables, good times and a surprise first dance twist awaited. What a fun day this was, and we’re forever grateful to have been a part of it!
