Wedding days like this one remind us of the main reason we came into this industry almost 14 years ago. The amount of thought and time Jocelyn and Chad put into each detail along with planning out the very special moments on their wedding day all while letting the natural moments flow was applaudable.

We arrived to meet Jocelyn and Chad getting ready in separate rooms at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New Orleans and immediately hit it off. We spent time with each of them as they got ready, opened thoughtful gifts from friends, and had a memorable first look with Jocelyn’s dad, all before heading to Armstrong Park for Jocelyn and Chad’s first look. They chose to do their first look with friends and family off in the distance, then proceeded to read their letters to each other while their closest family and friends circled them. It was such a beautiful idea and a highly personal touch. It was evident how loved they both were by their families.

After a few family formals in the park, we ventured over to the Hermann Grima House in the French Quarter where Jocelyn and Chad exchanged vows to be with each other for eternity, followed by a festive second line through the quarter. We circled back to Broussard’s where a reception of dancing, laughter, and a highly energetic Hora awaited everyone. All in all, a great day! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Spivack! Thanks again for having us there to capture the most precious of memories!
