“I love you. I cannot tell you how or when or from where. I love you simply and purely. I love you because it is all I can do.” -Neruda
Now let’s rewind just a few hours…
We first met Sydney and Clayton last year in the fall where we listened to their wedding plans, initial meetings and engagement story, and had been highly anticipating their big day in the spring. We were of course, blown away. Blown away not just by the incredible loving support of family and friends cheering on the newlyweds, but of their utmost appreciation and value of everyone present. Every family member, every friend, every vendor special and exceptional somehow.
We arrived to meet Sydney and her friends that day, and were greeted with warm smiles, hugs and laughter. Sydney and her bridesmaids relived stories from when they were younger, exchanged sweet letters, and giggled all the while getting prepped for the ceremony. Sydney and Clayton wrote letters to each other to be read the day of, shedding tears as they read them separately. After drying eyes and finishing up with last minute details, off they went to the ceremony to be wed in front of a packed house of overjoyed supporters.
After tying the knot at St. Mary Magdalene, everyone walked over to Magdalene Place, where good times awaited. Sydney and Clayton valued photos of the two of them together and with the last bit of light that day, we snagged a few in the Abbeville Square. Unscripted and naturally.
Everyone present clearly had a great time at the reception, as did we. A packed dance floor, sweet tunes, laughter… So many wonderful things could be said about Sydney and Clayton’s wedding, but words don’t do it justice. Congratulations you two. You are both amazing human beings and it’s been such a privilege getting to know you both.
This wedding… So many amazing feelings…
Big thank you’s go out to these vendors for giving everything you’ve got:
