“I love you, and that’s the beginning and end of everything.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Sarah and Andrew were originally getting married in May of 2020, but with the state of current events at that time, they were forced into rescheduling their destination wedding 1 year later. We all had been anticipating this day for so long, and it was finally here, and we were beside ourselves.
We arrived to meet Sarah getting ready in New Iberia, LA at Maison Le Rosier and we we entered the room where Sarah was getting ready, she jumped up and ran over to give the biggest hug and warm welcome. She was surrounded by best friends and close family as she got ready for the ceremony, while Andrew hung out with his groomsmen at Cook’s Cottage at Rip Van Winkle Gardens where the wedding was soon to be happening. After snapping some detail shots and getting all prepped and dressed for the big day, Sarah and her bridesmaids hopped on the trolley and headed to Rip Van Winkle where we watched Sarah and Andrew share some of the most heartfelt personal vows that had each other and their guests in tears.
After saying “I Do”, the newlyweds and all who flew in for this special day danced into the night under the stars, ending such a beautiful Louisiana summer day on a high note. Thank you both again for letting us be a part of this special time in your lives. We hope our paths cross again in the future!
