These last few weeks back to shooting weddings again have been filled with smaller, intimate celebrations, and guys… we’re all for it. There’s truly something magical about these sweet smaller weddings that just get us right in the feels. Olivia and Ryan’s wedding day was nothing short of that.

Olivia was surrounded by her immediate family and closest friends while she got ready at the Omni Royal Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana while Ryan was doing the same just a couple of blocks away at a family home. The sun was shining on that perfect fall day, the air was cool too. Olivia chose to have a first look with her dad which was so incredibly sweet, watching the two of them have such a special moment together. After taking some fun group photos on the balcony overlooking the Quarter, it came time to head to the ceremony a couple of blocks away, so Olivia and her dad hopped on a pedicab and rode over and everyone present was so thrilled to watch Olivia and Ryan exchange vows and commit to each other for forever.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds, family and a few very close friends walked a couple of blocks back to the Napoleon House where Olivia and Ryan shared unforgettable moments with their loved ones, including hearing a song sung by Ryan’s father for their first dance. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. This is why intimate weddings shouldn’t be overlooked. There’s so many special moments that happen when plans simplify, and so many wonderful moments did at Olivia and Ryan’s special day. These two jive so well together, and have a calmness that sets the room at ease almost instantly. You can tell by the way Ryan looks at Olivia that he’s beyond confident she’s everything to him. We were so grateful to be a part of such a beautiful celebration and are thrilled to share just a handful of our favorites.
