Indoor wedding at Le Pavilion Lafayette : Lindsey and Gaven

“You are my greatest adventure.”

We hit it off with Lindsey and Gavin during their engagement session last year, and have been so crazy excited about their upcoming wedding this past month. We would receive texts from time to time with sweet little details and it only heightened our anticipation for this special day for these two lovebirds.

When their big day came, the forecast called for rain, but that didn’t stop Lindsey and Gavin from having the time of their lives that day. We arrived to met Lindsey at her Airbnb in Youngsville, LA and were greeted with so many warm and happy faces. No one cared about the weather, and it was awesome. We snapped some shots of Lindsey getting into her dress before running over to a nearby pond for some bridesmaid pictures. Meanwhile, Geoffrey was hanging out with Gavin and his groomsmen laughing up a storm as they got ready at Home 2 Suites in Lafayette.

After a few group portraits, we hopped on a trolley and headed over to the wedding site, Le Pavillion and we were blown away at the amount of work Lindsey and Gavin put into the ceremony and reception, it was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was absolutely stunning, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Gavin’s reaction to Lindsey walking down the aisle with her father was one of the sweetest things to witness. After Lindsey and Gavin exchanged vows, we all moved right into the reception and everyone danced the night away. I believe a highlight of the night was the donut wall catered by Meche’s Donuts in town. (but I might have been slightly biased to it due to our love of Meches.)

One of the most touching moments during the reception (and I’m sure all who were present would agree) was when Lindsey danced with her father. Those two have such a beautiful relationship and it’s evident in how they are around each other. What an awesome day. Thanks you two for having us there to be a part of such a memorable time in your lives!
