“When was the last time you did something for the first time?”

That question has been the foundation of what we believe as photojournalists. Everything we preach as photographers is founded on the belief that everyone should always strive to be different and/or do different things. See different things. Go to different places.

Now is a better time than ever to finally introduce our Adventure Sessions. The idea of an engagement session has always changed through the course of time.

But life… Life is an adventure. So is your time of engagement. So it only makes sense to make your “engagement session” that way as well.

We always love it when a couple decides to be brave and venture out into an unknown area. Not only is it telling us you are absolutely awesome and carefree, but it reminds us of our inner need to explore and see what’s beyond our comfort zones. And this is what happens when we venture outside of our community. You find gems.

Ellen and Daniel wanted a location outdoors (which we LOVE) but wanted whatever location they chose to have a twist and represent them. They are adventurous, so when we suggested Clark Creek, they jumped on it immediately and nothing was regretted. We walked through creeks, climbed steep hills, traversed over boulders to find places that will never be forgotten.

We thank both of these two for being bold and brave, and for showing us a wonderful time.

Here’s to always doing things for the first time.
