When we set out to develop our preset we had a couple of goals in mind. We wanted to develop a color preset that gave us the same feels that we would get from looking at black and white photos without just desaturating the colors. At the same time we wanted a preset with a nostalgic feel to it. We did not want to emulate any film in particular but rather for the photo to just have a nostalgic feel to it while staying true to skin tones. We feel we accomplished these goals with Stone Wash.

Stone Wash 04 Big Blue is all about those calming blues. Big Blue goes hand in hand with images taken during blue hour or ones taken indoors. Big Blue was made to complement blue hour photos, without sacrificing skin tones. Or if you’re dealing with photos that just feel too hot, Big Blue is perfect for just cooling off overly warm environments, yet retaining beautiful tones in the skin. Boom.
