Lafayette Horse Farm Engagement Session: Elaina and Matt

“And suddenly all the love songs were about you.”

This time of year is by far our favorite season of all. The weather is finally cooling off and fall colors are everywhere to be seen. It’s also the season around here to take engagement photos since it’s just so nice outside, and we were getting super excited about getting to hang out with Elaina and Matt for their session.

We met at the Horse Farm in Lafayette, and after lots of welcome hugs and chatting for a bit, we started walking around the area, soaking up the sun as it crept through the leaves of the trees, sharing stories, and bonding over our incredible love of dogs. We would squeal with excitement as a pup would run by. Elaina and Matt just jive with each other. We just love it when our couples are relaxed and are willing to explore a bit. We ventured out towards the back of the park and hung out there in the moodiest and mot perfect light we could’ve asked for. We wrapped up the evening walking back to our cars and enjoyed the last bit of light we had before the night came. What a fun day. Can’t wait for their wedding next year!
