What a privilege it was to hang with this girl. Inna came down from Toronto to attend Forest and falls Workshop this past Tennessee and our paths crossed. I could not have been happier about it. We followed each other on Instagram for some time and it was great to finally meet in person. This girl is loaded with talent and was an inspiration to be around.

We initially met on Day one of the workshop while out and about around the falls at Fall Creek Falls State Park, and we immediately hit it off. We mutually decided it would be a great idea to come back on the last day to take photos of each other at the base o the falls when there was significantly less people around. What a great decision that was. On the last day, a small group of us broke away and ventured out to the base of the Falls and it was nothing short of magic.

As some know, in the past I’ve ventured out and done personal one-on-one shoots with various ladies who inspire me in one way or another. As with most personal projects, it was put on the back burner for more than a year so as to tend to work and our personal life. How refreshing it was to get back into the groove of one-on-one portraits. I love having the opportunity to communicate with one person at a time. It helps me to think and process exactly what I’d like to capture, while still leaving plenty of room for spontaneity.

You can easily see after spending some time with her, Inna’s individuality. I love that about her. Inna boldly walks her own path, and that is something to truly admire. I can’t wait to start implementing some of the qualities she possesses in my own life, such as the confidence to be yourself even if it’s a bit different from the rest.
